We need to avoid every degree of warming we can AND be prepared for what is and will continue to happen. I will advocate for:

Sustainable investment in renewable energy.
Community-centred climate resilience initiatives, including emergency preparedness and response.
Creation of certainty in the renewables industry, to encourage development and innovation.
Accelerated emissions reductions in alignment with the Paris Agreement.
Integration of distributed energy systems and electric vehicles.
Increased employment in energy efficiency and retro-fitting.

We need to improve trust in media and democracy. I will advocate for:

We need to focus on appropriate and diverse housing to meet the needs of a changing community. I will:

Support innovative, community led housing models.
Seek enhanced tenant protections and rental market transparency.
Seek improved energy efficiency to reduce housing costs.
Work to achieve greater consultation, to ensure the right housing in the right places.

Strong communities get better outcomes for people, families and groups. I will advocate for policy that:

Increases the level of community engagement and co-design.
Adopts holistic approaches to family violence prevention.
Promotes equitable, inclusive education systems.
Increases regulation of sports betting and advertising, and takes steps to address addictive design in games and social media.

We need to ensure our health care evolves with community needs. I will prioritise:

Affordable and accessible youth-specific mental health services, such as a Headspace facility for Deakin.
Investment in reducing elder abuse and promoting independent living.
Enhanced mental health programs in the workplace.
Improved NDIS regulations for better allied health access.
Advocating for a reduction in the cost of allied health services.
